A: Even though the current clubs under development are located in Mexico, we sell all our current residence club units in U.S. dollar currency transactions. The majority of our buyers are from the U.S. and Canada. The strength of the Canadian dollar to the U.S. dollar against the Mexican Peso has been a positive benefit. In addition, since both the U.S. dollar and Canadian dollar have steadily risen against the Mexican Peso in the past 5 years, this helps travelers and tourists from both these countries get more in terms of food, entertainment and other services while vacationing in Mexico.

A: Real estate in most areas of Mexico is still seeing single and double digit appreciation especially in prime areas and vacation related properties. There is a possibility that as home prices continue to drop in the U.S., the amount of discretionary income individuals are willing to put toward a second or vacation home will be affected. However, to date it has caused buyers to look to Mexico for investments that have a better potential for increased value.
